Pandora's Garden
2011, Art Complex Museum, Duxbury, MA
The interior of a museum packing crate became the environment for Pandora's Garden. The crate was shipped from the museum to my studio in Somerville, where I transformed the inside. Then I shipped it back to the museum and "planted" the garden. The lid is propped open, creating a sense of surprise.
Materials: Museum packing crate, urethane resin, LEDs, wire, electronics
Dimensions: 58" x 63" x 28"
