Ramp Piece
1979, Orange, CT
This sculpture was inspired by a narrow passageway between two buildings. Two parallel plywood walls create an 18" wide space through which viewers walk on an arched wooden ramp. The piece is somewhat claustrophobic and has heightened acoustics due to the closeness of the walls.
